Lithium Processing

CPS has the privilege of working with a partner bringing the processing of an alkali metal critical to the manufacturing of batteries to the United States.

As the client worked with their cutting-edge technology vendors, CPS crafted and provided the critical electrical infrastructure for the facility including two large Power Transformers, a 38kV Gas-Insulated Switchgear E-House, 5kV and 480V Switchgear E-Houses, and several distribution transformers. CPS then worked hand-in-hand with the client to develop Power Distribution Centers that would provide motor control including numerous variable frequency drives for their process loads. CPS and Southern States provided an analysis and solution for both Power Factor Correction and Harmonic Mitigation for the facility.
